The Model M manual sampler is designed to provide a representative sample of powders and granules from gravity-fed hoppers, chutes, and similar locations. The polished stainless steel body and auger allow the sampler to be used with a wide range of materials.
Operation is by manual hand crank as standard. The fixed spool remains permanently in the product stream. When the hand crank is turned, the auger screws out product continuously to provide a sample for as long as the operator continues to turn the handle.
Its simple construction uses a small number of parts, supporting straightforward maintenance.
