The Type K gravity diverter valve is fabricated in either mild steel or stainless steel and is designed for the bulk handling of powders, pellets, and granules in industries including food, chemical, and plastics. Smooth internal faces prevent product build-up, while the diverting flap consists of two stainless steel plates enclosing a rubber wiper seal.
Operation is provided by a pneumatic vane-type actuator controlled via a single solenoid valve. A manual override is fitted as standard to allow local operation.
Optional electrical position indication switches can be supplied, along with solenoid valves specified to customer requirements or for use in hazardous areas.
